Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 200g chicken breast meat

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • garlic (diced finely)

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)

  • plain flour (just enough to coat)

  • finely grated parmesan cheese

  • cooking spray

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • (optional) garlic powder, paprika, or any other seasonings you like

Directions

  • Marinate chicken breast meat in soy sauce and diced garlic for minimum 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  • Combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, and any seasoning(s) of your choosing together. Mix well.

  • Preheat air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius

  • Slice chicken breast into small pieces about 3-5cm each side.

  • Coat each piece of chicken meat with flour, followed by the beaten egg, and lastly coat generously with the breadcrumb mixture.

  • Lightly spray with cooking spray (if no cooking spray, coat with a light light layer of oil with a cooking brush).

  • Place chicken nuggets into air fryer in a single layer, do not stack them. Cook for 6-8 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

  • Enjoy alone or with your favourite dipping sauce!
