Protein Smoothie with Berries

This recipe is adapted from Gill’s Protein Smoothie, and is a Whelan Wellness Community favorite (https://www.whelanwellness.ca/). You can also add in one Tablespoon of peanut butter or other nut butter for an extra kick of protein.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup almond milk

  • 1 scoop protein powder (about 1 Tablespoon)

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

  • frozen berries to taste

Directions

  • Add almond milk, protein powder, and chia seeds into blender

  • Cover with vanilla yogurt

  • Add frozen berries on top

  • Blend until smooth
