Mochi Balls

An easy to make tasty treat. Gobble up now, or freeze to save for later.

Ingredients

  • Red Bean Paste

  • Glutinous Rice Flour

  • Green Tea Powder

  • Water

  • Sugar

  • Cornstarch

Directions

  • Roll red bean paste into balls. Leave to the side.

  • Mix glutinous rice flour and green tea powder with water and sugar until smooth.

  • Cover bowl and cook in microwave for 3 1/2 minutes.

  • Stir. Heat for an additional 30 seconds.

  • Dust counter with cornstarch.

  • Roll the dough into balls. Caution, it will be hot!

  • Flatten each ball and add red bean paste ball to centre.

  • Pinch the mochi dough over the paste until covered.

  • Leave for 5-10 minutes to cool.

  • Eat!
