Mochi Balls
An easy to make tasty treat. Gobble up now, or freeze to save for later.
Ingredients
Red Bean Paste
Glutinous Rice Flour
Green Tea Powder
Water
Sugar
Cornstarch
Directions
Roll red bean paste into balls. Leave to the side.
Mix glutinous rice flour and green tea powder with water and sugar until smooth.
Cover bowl and cook in microwave for 3 1/2 minutes.
Stir. Heat for an additional 30 seconds.
Dust counter with cornstarch.
Roll the dough into balls. Caution, it will be hot!
Flatten each ball and add red bean paste ball to centre.
Pinch the mochi dough over the paste until covered.
Leave for 5-10 minutes to cool.
Eat!
